HAIL! We were in the car when this hailstorm hit. We don't get a lot of those around here, and boy was it scary! Marble-sized hail barrage on the car. Poor Daniel was screaming but the storm was so loud you couldn't hear him at all. Went on for several minutes and left almost an inch covering over everything--looked like winter! This picture is 1/2 hour after in the 80 degree weather. Two hours later now and there's still a good covering in all the shady spots. Tornado spotted about a mile away too. We almost NEVER get those. Lucky for us it didn't come any closer. Welcome to Summer?

Global warming, perhaps? Nahhh... ;) What a great picture, though, the hailstones look like frosted glass marbles in a flower vase!

We had softball size hail here a couple of years ago. It was really scary! That's a pretty picture you took. I used to live in Springfield. Went to elementary and middle school there. See Ya.

What a freaky year it's been!

Beautiful picture you took, though.
I first thought it was pretty stones in a fish tank. hehe
